Back in Summer of 2012 I had my test to proof my aptitude for studying art. And I started studying art that same year. Now, 10 years later it kind of feels weird, to feel a bit of nostalgia for that time. I had my struggles for sure. It was mentally draining to fight with professors and fellow students about wether pretty things can be art...or manga. Even digital art was a problem. At the time I even argued with people vie e-mail after the seminar has ended :D. And there were so many weird people... not in a charming way though...but definitely eccentric. Putting dead flies in a frame, gluing plastic cutlery on a wall with a strobe light or smashing phones from random students for a performance piece. I always kind of felt like I wasn't getting the joke when I looked at what my fellow students did. And while I convinced noone to be open for what I consider art, I surely got a lot more tolerant for what they appreciated. Because admittedly, I didn't like abstract art that much when
